Graduation 2024
Graduation is Friday, May 17, 2024 at 7:30 pm at the Smithville High School Football Stadium
Seniors must arrive at the high school, fully dressed for the ceremony, by 6 pm.
Gates will open for guests at 6:30 pm
In the event of inclement weather, the District will notify Graduates of event postponement by 4:00pm on May 17, 2024.
Make-up dates are Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 7:30pm or Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 2:30pm
Ticket/ wristbands are required for seating in the bleachers
Ticket/wristbands will be distributed to graduates on May 10, 2024 during graduation practice
Guests without wristband tickets are welcome to sit in the green space on either side of the bleachers.

The concession stand WILL be open that evening, serving drinks and candy only.
Please meet your graduate behind the bleachers after the ceremony.
Parking:
Please remind your Graduate to park in the Middle School parking lot.
Please carpool or be dropped off if possible.
The lot directly behind the stadium is for handicapped parking only. Cars must have an official placard or license plate to park in that lot.
There will be a drop off lane for those who wish to drop off their guests at the sidewalk leading into the stadium and then go park.
Parking is on a first come first served basis.
Diplomas will be available for pick up at the Block after the ceremony.
All fees must be paid in full before graduates can pick up their diploma.
Diplomas with fees still to be paid will be held in the SHS office for pick up during regular business hours the following week.
