Smithville Middle School -

Our quality staff works closely together to assist in the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our students.  We strive to develop intrinsically motivated learners who take ownership in our building's success.  During our school day, we endeavor to engage each child in relevant and rigorous content.  After the school day, we sponsor academic and athletic activities that further the education of the whole child.

Building on a foundation of strong community values, a highly invested staff and a safe and welcoming environment, Smithville Middle School will create a positive learning experience and assist in the transitional development of each 7th and 8th grade student by encouraging student voice, enhancing leadership skills, fostering opportunities for personal growth and supporting innovative thinking and the desire to learn.
