WARRIOR PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION PROCESS

Requirements & Important Information:

Enrollment is limited & registration will be first come, first served

Provide PROOF OF RESIDENCY from the acceptable documentation list.

$50 Non-Refundable Registration Fee (fee will be assessed upon class placement)

Students must be 3 years old by July 31, 2024

Students must be potty trained by August 1, 2024

Transportation is not provided

Warrior Preschool Program follows the Smithville School District Calendar

Warrior Preschool Program does not offer classes in the summer

Available Sessions

Half-Day Preschool Class (AM) @ Eagle Heights Elementary

  • Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday

  • 8:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.

  • Preferred age group: 3-4 year olds

  • Tuition: $22 per day

Half-Day Preschool Class (PM) @ Eagle Heights Elementary

  • Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday

  • 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

  • Preferred age group: 4-5 year olds

  • Tuition: $22 per day

Full-Day Pre-Kindergarten Class @ Maple Elementary

Full-Day Pre-Kindergarten Class @ Horizon Elementary

  • Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday

  • 8:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.

  • Preferred age group: 3-5 year olds

  • Tuition: $37 per day

To enroll a new student in the Warrior Preschool Program:

  1. Call Brenda Dion at 816-532-0406 to get on the Registration List.

  2. Complete Online Registration. See tutorial below.

Registration Tutorial

The 3 steps to enroll your child are provided below:

Step 1:  New Student Registration can be completed using an internet-connected device.  Begin by visiting the SSD student enrollment form.

When arriving here, simply follow the directions to complete the pre-registration application.  Please select the following choices for Warrior Preschool:

  • For the appropriate Grade please select PK3 if you are two years out from Kindergarten and PK4 if you are one year out from Kindergarten

  • 2024-2025 for the Entry Year

  • Warrior PreSchool Program for School Preference (please do not choose Eagle, Maple, or Horizon)

Upon completion of this form, you will receive an email stating your Pre-registration was received. 

Step 2:  Gather the following documents needed for online enrollment:

  • Student’s Immunization Records

  • Student's Birth Certificate

  • Proof of Residency (utility bill, lease, or real estate contract)

Step 3:  Once the pre-registration process has been completed, you will receive an email with the subject “Smithville School District New Student Enrollment” to create a Parent PowerSchool Portal Account. Once your Powerschool Parent Portal Account has been created, you will click on the Forms tab which is located on the left side of the screen.  Complete each form. 

There is a non-refundable $50 deposit required at enrollment to secure your child’s placement in the program.  This deposit and all tuition will be paid through your PowerSchool Parent Portal (RevTrak).
